Workmanship Judging

Workmanship judging takes place at the Playhouse before the masquerade. Not all entries must participate in the workmanship division of the masquerade. Only those who wish to have their costumes or props examined and judged need to register for workmanship judging.

If you choose to participate in the workmanship category, you will be given an appointment time when you register for the masquerade. If you have registered online, you will be e-mailed with your time slot.

If you are being judged for workmanship you must do both the one-on-one and walk the stage.

Presentation division

The masquerade is a non-professional competition. Costumes bought or rented cannot be entered in the workmanship divisions, but they can be showcased in the presentation division. Also, anybody who wants to enter in this division is welcome.

A walk on has 30 seconds of stage time and groups up to 4 have 60 seconds. For groups larger than 4 members a 90 second (maximum) stage time is permitted.
