Cosplay Accessory Contest

Are you passionate about creating jewelry, weapons, props, or accessories inspired by your favorite fandoms? Do you want to showcase your creativity? Sign up for the Cosplay Accessory Contest! Your entries will be displayed for attendees to view and vote on. Join together to chat with fellow enthusiasts, share tips and tricks, and discuss the creative process behind each piece. Don’t miss this opportunity to shine and connect with others who share your passion!

 

Rules

1. Contest is open to all attendees. You must have a valid Animaritime badge to participate.

2. An entry form must be submitted, follow the link here: Cosplay Accessory Contest 2024

3. Contest sign up is open from May 26 to June 14.

4. Weapons must comply with Animaritime’s weapons policy. (must be props only)

5. Accessories from any fandom are welcomed. Pictures of the accessory from source material are encouraged for reference concept. (can have images on cell phone to show others)

6. Participants must be onsite during the showing so their widgets are not stolen or damaged.

 

Judging

1. Ballots will be available to attendees to vote for their favourite and put into a drop box.

2. Animaritime staff can judge by:

   1. Execution

   2. Design

   3. Degree of difficulty

   4. Best use of materials

   5. Matching convention theme (extra point)

3. Winners will be alerted on Saturday along with the distribution of prizes and they will be announced during closing ceremonies.
